I totally feel your pain. The new section is well-built, and getting off the pipeline. I have cleared deposited debris off it a couple times. If a trail exists it is totally ok to be on it, use it, maintaiin it, etc. I even heard this east-side connecter may be part of the Loop trail. I want to put a sign and tell people to leave it alone!!
OBTW, did you see the Helicopter Angel 5 fly-over on your birthday? Sorry I missed it in person.
AND, McKenna is the most beautiful 10-month old EVER!!

Next time we catch them re-arranging the trails or worse throwing logs and rocks back onto the single track were someone gets hurt... Lets just politely and discretely walk them into the dark forest to discuss the matter to a point were they will never do it again! Word will get back to our "Trail Crew" to leave the trails alone. Lets help them help themselves...........

Right on sister! And they do the same thing in Sedona, meanwhile it's many of the local hikers and MTBers who truly appreciate these trails!! It's so frustrating!! You should really try to push this issue out there...local paper, Backpacker, even those pubs to which those ACE folks subscribe.
